Director: Clark Fitzgerald
Clark Fitzgerald was born and raised in Humboldt, TN. After graduating from high school in 1996, he attended his first two years at the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, TN. In the Fall of 1998 he transferred to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN where he completed his undergraduate degree majoring in Psychology along with minors in Sociology and Religious Studies.
In August 2001 he was hired as the operations manager and helped open two Smoothie King locations in Murfreesboro. Around May of 2002 he sensed the Lord's calling to further his education and commitment to ministry. He followed the Lord's leading and in January 2003, he moved to Louisville, KY to begin his seminary studies at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In August 2004 he proposed; and she said yes. He and his wife Meghan were married on January 8, 2005 in the great state of Florida. In May 2007, Clark earned his Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth.
Not much time passed before he received a call from the President of One Goal Sports to inquire of his interest to relocate and assist Renee Chambers as Co-Director of One Goal Sports. On September 27, 2007 Clark, Meghan and soon to be son, Micaiah (Mi-Kai-Uh), packed up and relocated to Murfreesboro, TN. Clark began his ministry at One Goal Sports on October 1, 2007. His son was born on December 29, 2007.
In June 2009, Renee Chambers left One Goal Sports in view of a call to minister to troubled teens. Clark assumed primary directorship of OGS and has since carried on the legacy of ministry to families through sports.
